Bowling Centre
This 20 lane center is best known to most European bowlers as host
of the “Hammer Bronzen Schietspoel Tournament” since 2002.The
bowling has AMF 82-70 machines, (with) Active Synthetic lanes and
approaches, in combination with Steltronic computerscore. For the
EWC 2012 Dolphin Bowling will use a tournament set of Diamond
Duramid pins.
The center has one floor with a total space of approximately 500 square meters
recreational area. This includes a small restaurant that is located within the bowling
center where you can enjoy good food at reasonable prices. The center will sell bottled
sodas. Free Wi-Fi will be available. All public areas in the Netherlands are submitted to a
ban on smoking, so smoking will not be allowed inside the bowling center. Outside there
is a limited public parking area, so we strongly recommend you to use the tournament
shuttles and/or public transportation.
Upon arrival all participating federations will receive more information about the different
areas in the bowling center and what they are used for.
The bowling has a pro shop available for all your needs. Accessories, new equipment or
surface changes, Dolphin Pro Shop has it all. The pro shop will be open throughout the
entire tournament.
Since 2010 Dolphin Bowling is also home to the first ever licensed
Kegel Training Center besides Lake Wales, FL. Kegel is the world
leader in bowling education, and with 4 lanes of C.A.T.S., 3 HD hi-
speed camera’s and 2 Kegel licensed coaches the facility in Tilburg
may offer a great preparation for your championship.
Dolphin Bowling Tilburg has a great staff that speaks excellent
English, and they will do their utmost for you to make it a great event. Besides that the
organization has proved in previous tournaments to be supported by an enthusiastic and
hard working group of volunteers who have the hands-on mentality that guarantees a
great tournament.
